Yin Yang Reset?

Many of us lately are complaining of digestive issues either with going to the bathroom, bloating and uncomfortable feeling or aversions to food which they didn't have before. I came across a podcast one day that was talking about these revolutionist ladies that had created a book called the YIN YANG RESET. I know what you are thinking oh here we go another book yammering on about how to fix your health but they give you no real constructive ways to go about doing this!!! Well you are wrong. I read the book and started using the ideas and recipes in my clinic months ago and have seen lots of great results and better yet curiosity about how they can seriously fix their gut once they used my advice.

The ideas they present are based on TCM traditional Chinese medicine and food. See the Chinese believe that your body gives you signs that it is out of balance such as gut distress and with other signs that you are showing such as stress, and overworking on a project for example and eating at odd hours and your body sends you signals like bloating, indigestion and insomnia to say hey this isn't working for me. Well this book was designed for those that maybe can't afford to see an acupuncturist or maybe are afraid of needles whatever the reason is you pick up their book and on pg.20 go through their quiz to find out what the reason behind your symptoms are and from there you find the chapter of recipes on that disease such as spleen qi def and they give you morning, lunch, dinner and dessert ideas. After a few weeks of yummy recipes you start to feel better!

You are probably asking yourself so why are you promoting their book, what's in it for you? Nothing but pure satisfaction to those that read this blog pick up their book and start using their recipes and start feeling better....I won't lie I really want you to try their black bean brownie recipe...I changed it slightly to suit me and my family. The recipe is as follows

14oz can of black beans

2 organic eggs beaten

3 tbsp melted organic butter or virgin coconut oil

1/2 cup coconut palm sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

I added 1/4 cup walnut and 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350, grease a 8x8 pan, blend all the ingredients in a food blender until really smooth this is important or it won't taste right. Pour the batter in the pan and cook for 25 minutes. Let cool and enjoy.

Send me a message if you read the book and feel better, and want to let me know, or if you have questions, or if you want to sit down with me in the clinic and have me help you start feeling better but the idea of reading a book is daunting to you.

Cheers to good digestion everyone!
